Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model-actress television host and record artist, has received numerous awards in her time. The most notable are two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award as well as two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. In addition, she was awarded two Gawad Urian Awards as well as the eight PMPC Star Awards for Movies. (2009-2010) Curtis is a native of Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia her parents were Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father was married to Ojales in 1982. The younger sister Jasmine is also an actress. On their father's side they were half-sisters with a name Clare who passed away in the year 2007 of a cardiovascular disease that struck her at just four months old.
